"I never knew a vocal studio could provide me with such an amazing
foundation for a future career in the music industry. Monica Augustine is
not only an amazing vocal teacher and mentor but she is also an
amazing artist and human being.

Since I started with Wildflower School of Voice at the age of 12 I have
had the opportunity to record a demo with the producer of The Fray, got
accepted into the top 150 of American Idol Season 9, and recently
started my own recording company. For all this, I thank Wildflower. I can
honestly say that Wildflower School of Voice has changed my life in so
many ways. Studying voice with Monica was one of the best decisions of
my life.  I am so happy I did."

"Monica is absolutely incredible. Words cannot describe how much I value the things Wildflower has taught me, not only musically, but also a young adult. I started taking lessons with Monica when I was 8 years old and continued those lessons through my 18th birthday. Her wide range of experience has suited every phase of my vocal journey. Whether it be Motown, Jazz, Pop, Musical Theater, Country, or even Classical, Monica has it covered.

For those who have not had the privilege of meeting Monica, she is extremely caring and has an amazing work ethic. She is always on the hunt for new music, vocal warm ups, and activities to properly fit her student's vocal development. Thanks to Monica, and the connections she has formed throughout the Boulder community, I have had the opportunity to record in 3 different studios, one of which recorded the Fray. Not only does she do private lessons, but she has also created amazing performance classes to help boost her student's confidence on stage..

At Wildflower School of Voice I have had the honor of performing in a vast range of venues including Penny Lane, my first concert, Creekfest, Nissi's, and, most recently, the Global Sound venue. All of these performances have helped not only vocally but also academically.

Having the confidence to perform in front of an audience has helped me present projects and speeches with ease. This further explains why the lessons taught at Wildflower are practical not only in the world of performing arts, but also that of school and jobs.

I am going to miss Monica immensely this coming fall, as I begin school at CSU, and I will never forget the lessons she has taught me. I know that I will stay in touch with her because she has become more than just a teacher, she is also my mentor and a friend."

"I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to grow up working with Monica. I first began my vocal training when I was eight years old—scared,  unprepared, and wildly optimistic. Monica has been an exceptional teacher and mentor throughout the years. She is incredibly versatile and can teach a variety of material, ranging from classical technique to modern pop; her knowledge in vocal technique is expansive. I feel lucky to have had a portion of that knowledge passed down to me. Marlo Berberian 2013

My passion has always been for theatre and by working with Monica I feel prepared to enter the ultra-competitive world of auditioning for musicals and straight plays alike, with an amazing foundation in vocal training.  Because of Monica, I know how to sing, but I also know how to maintain a healthy voice.  I know how to support myself and breathe correctly.

Monica has helped me to prepare for my biggest vocal auditions and accomplishments. In January of 2013, I was cast in Denver School of the Art’s production of Avenue Q as the lead (Kate Monster) and in the fall of 2013, I will be entering the freshman class of NYU at Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in theatre. I wouldn’t have been able to complete my auditions without knowing how to support myself vocally.  I am forever grateful to Monica for always being there to help me prepare for these moments.

Besides singing, Monica taught me confidence, stage presence, and intention.  Monica doesn’t just teach voice, she teaches students how to be well-rounded artists.  My voice is my instrument and it’s about so much more than just knowing about technique. Monica has given me passion and love for voice.  I will miss her tremendously when I leave for college, but am so thankful to have had her in my life."

"I have been taking voice lessons from Monica Augustine for six years. I have improved dramaticallySara Johannes
as a person and as a singer because of the training I have received. Without Monica I wouldn't have gained confidence in both my singing and my performances and so many opportunities are availableto me because of Wildflower School of Voice. I credit my acceptance into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles to Monica and everything I have learned throughout the years of vocal training. I am so thankful for Monica."

"Monica Augustine is one of the most kind, determined people I have ever had the honor to know and be taught by. Her love for children and her job shines through. I took voice lessons from Monica for four years and learned more about my voice and music than I ever could have imagined. Monica makes learning music fun and exciting, and encourages her students to be the best they can be.

Monica helped me get into the The Academy of Contemporary Music in London, England, by tenaciously helping me with improving my voice, Theory, and all aspects of music. Without her I don’t believe I could have done it. Monica has so much life and positive energy that makes it hard not to love being in class with her and interested in self-improvement. Her own musical abilities are also mind blowing. She is without a doubt an idol of mine and inspiration to follow your dream and to do what you love. I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without her."

"Monica Augustine has been my vocal coach for 6 years and has inspired me to not only build confidence within my singing but within myself. She is not only a mentor/inspiration but also friend. She has taught me so many things vocally as well as songwritting and performance. Thanks to Monica, I have developed as a singer/songwriter and she guides all her students along their creative paths. I couldn't recommend anyone more than Monica as a vocal instructor."

"When my interest in music began early in high school, I could not have found a more perfect teacher than Monica. Not only are her musical background and skills wonderful, but she takes true personal interest in every single one of her students. She bettered me as a music student and as a person with her kind, passionate, and motivational ways of teaching. Throughout our time together, I gained confidence and poise, a range of musical knowledge, and fell in love with singing and guitar. Now in my third year of college, I have recorded four songs and will soon record my first two original songs--none of which would be true if it weren't for Monica's guidance and inspiration! I was blessed to have been in Monica's program throughout my high school years, and I will forever look up to her as a friend and as a role model in my life."

“Thanks to Monica, my six year old daughter has the singing voice
of an angel. Monica’s understanding, talent, patience, and persistence
keep her coming back for more.”

Wendy Leeds, Louisville

"Our daughter has probably been one of Monica's greatest challenges in teaching voice.  Audrey has had significant hearing issues since birth.  Although she can't hear certain pitches and tones Audrey loves to sing.  She has been taking voice lessons for over two years now with Monica, in that time she has participated in three performances.  Audrey's rendition of Amazing Grace brought down the house at her second performance.  Since working with Monica, Audrey has grown in self-confidence along with developing an individual style and stage presence that just is just astounding!  One of the benefits of voice lessons with Monica is that Audrey's speech is much clearer and easier to understand than it was after 8 years of speech rehab.  Monica's ability to always stay positive and offer so many different ways to study music keeps Audrey motivated and confident.

We highly recommend Wildflower School Of Voice to anyone wanting to pursue an interest in voice and performance."

Donna and Blane Taylor

"Monica has held a very unique role in my life. She has built my confidence in singing and on stage so exponentially that I feel an identical amount of comfort on and off the stage.

She’s also helped me build my voice in the same amount; making people tell me that my voice makes their neck hair stand on end. But what I deem the best part of her teaching is her open-mindedness to her students’ musical preferences. Monica doesn’t assign and choose the songs her students sing, they do. As a result, I find that her students learn so much more by growing in their singing in the ways they want to rather than the ways they must. I’ve been taking lessons at Wild Flower for two years and it has been nothing short of excellent."

Michal Murphy
“My daughter, Michal, started voice lessons with Monica right before her fourth birthday. In the short time since, I have seen her self-confidence grow and her singing improve and strengthen. Monica makes each lesson an enjoyable adventure that Michal looks forward to every week.”
